Hmm, I think at that stage, some food and a run around the park does it pretty well. Organised games, like pass the parcel etc, most 2yo's don't really get. Maybe some games of hide and seek (with todlers hiding with their parents), or follow the leader or something?

How old will the kids be? If they are all going to be two and under then you won't really need any activities as they'll be too young
If they are older then games such as, duck duck goose, What's the time Mr Wolf, Whose got your bone Mr Dog, etc are always good for a laugh...well I always get a laugh out if playing them anyway :2lol
Maybe a table set up in the shade with some crayons and paper maybe some gluesticks and glitter or srickers

playdough and what kyles said.
But loads of free play at a park is awesome. DJ just turned 6 and we didn't have any structured games at all, kids were in the river swimming and playing on the playground. We had a pop up tent for extra protection from the sun that they all sat in to eat sandwiches.

Ok so bubble blowing and play dough sounds good... I think they will be all around 2 so the other games like pass the parcel may definately be lost on them! Whats the deal with catering these days... i was going to have plain old chocolate cake plus other bad things like chips combined with reasonably healthy muffins etc (no lollies though or red cordial!). Is that ok?

Fruit platters are always a massive hit at our parties, finger foods, cupcakes, cups of jelly, etc

grapes always a big hit with 2year old! I'd have a plate of banana pieces and grapes and maybe wedges of peeled apple.
You could also make a batch of plain popcorn. All cheap and easy and healthy.
Fairy bread is fun and not all that bad i don't reckon.
I like the jelly idea.
And yeah, chocolate cake for sure!
