Just wondering how you look after your crystals.

I have been told once a week (or once finished with the energy of that particular crystal...but at least once a week) to soak in salted water, then put out in the sunshine.

Is this what you do?

Or do you have another ritual?

I bury mine in the garden then wash and dry them in the sun.

ETA: As per info here (http://crystalden.com.au/information.php?info_id=6) . :)

Thanks C.

Why bury in the garden? I am intrigued....

The vibrations from the earth cleanse in a way I can't explain N.

I feel like they come from the earth so they need to be reconnected directly with it often.

Does that help? :)

A couple of my friends put them out on a full moon, all night. And no one but them (the owners) ever touch them.

it depends what you use them for. If you do use them I have been told certain essential oils are akin to packaged sunlight. The salt water is the most common one I think.

My Crystals are very neglected.

Smoky Quartz is my crystal at present.

Also have rose quartz, clear quartz, jade, tigeriron, some other one I wish I knew what it was and amethyst.

We take ours to the beach, or in the past have taken them to streams/rivers where water can flow and cleanse them. DD puts hers in the ground. We also put them out in a full moon. Both DD and I are really attracted to rose quartz, so we have them everywhere and wear them when we feel the need. Blue agate is another favourite.

My favourite would be lapis or pyrite, probably followed by amber or tormaline. But I'm very attacted to rutilated or tourmilated quartz (I think that the right term).
