and where can I get it online?

I've read that it's good for menstrual cramps, and my sister swears by it so she's given me some of hers to try out. If it makes a difference, I might buy some of my own if it's not too expensive.

also supposedly it's good for anxiety, so i thought I'd give it a spin for that reason too.

Any experiences, recommendations, suggestions or personal anecdotes?

I know there's been small mentions of it here at IP on different threads but I thought I'd give it a whole thread to itself. That's how kind and generous I am.

Also.
Hello.
That is all.

I can recommend Bioceuticals - Ultra MuscleEase. Magnesium plus all the co-factors needed to absorb it efficiently. I have used it myself and found I could feel the benefits within a few days (I was using it for muscle cramps). I have a friend who has had great success using it to prevent migraine.

We use it here with great success too. Chemist or health food shop.

We take it too, when I remember! I've got it powdered from the health food store. The naturopath that works at the shop said that because it is good for calming and anxiety it'd be good for more 'emotionally aware' children (as he put it) so when I remember E takes it too.

I take Swisse Women's Formula. Have also found it beneficial within a few days. Other benefits: better quality sleep and fewer general aches and pains.

I have been taking some since last Sunday, that my sister gave me to try out. I have enough for 30 days if I take 2 a day, which I have been, so I'll see how I'm doing in a couple of weeks and decide whether to buy some of my own.

It might just be coincedence (can it work this quickly?), but I think for the past few days I have been feeling much less stressed in general. There have been at least 3 or 4 things (little random things that nobody else would mind probably) that would ordinarily have freaked me out and had me stressing afterwards, and instead i could talk myself down and just cruise through with little to no worry. The anxiety isn't gone, and I don't magically have the courage/skills to do the new people/situation thing (I might not ever have that, and that's all right) but it seems like the anxiety is at a lower level, and I can talk myself out of stressing too much and just relax and enjoy the day/conversation/whatever.

Whereas usually I talk myself out of panicking but the background stress is still there. It's ALWAYS there. On the very rare occasions that it completely goes away I get all giddy and laugh at everything and nothing, like I'm drunk, and don't make sense when I'm talking. I think it's just such an odd feeling for me, to have the background fear taken away. Like a weight lifted. It makes me act so loopy :D Anyway I have had maybe... 3 of these days/afternoons in the past year? And one of them was two days ago. After I started taking the magnesium. Which might be a coincedence, but I find it encouraging anyway.

I think I'm rambling.

IN CONCLUSION:
I think I like my magnesium pills. But we shall have to wait and see if it stays this way. Perhaps my life is just being really unstressful right now, and it's unrelated. But personally... I think they're helping.

That's awesome Lee! yay for magnesium. My SIL also swears by it.

Leafy greens are really high in magnesium too. I found any menstrual cramps I had went completely when I dramatically upped my intake of greens (2 large salads a day plus a green juice - apple, celery and greens). The naturopath reckoned it was all the magnesium.

Magnesium is to plants as iron is to people apparently :)

I've been taking it for a few weeks and am stepping into the tent today, will let you know whether it helps the cramps. Anyone up the dose during their cycle? The bottle says 1 for maintenance, 3 for acute conditions.
