private forum access

Hi Everyone!!

Just a quick note to let everyone know that we have implemented a work around for access to some of the private forums.

As you all know access to some forums, such as Relationships & Photo Album, are viewable only to members who have a min membership time of 3 months and a min post count of 100 (aka 'Active Member').

As we don't want to leave everyone waiting 3 months to be able to access forums many of us previously had access to, we have decided to leave the min post count at 100 and drop the min membership time to 10 days.

Once we hit the 3 month mark, it will return to the usual 3 month min.

The system updates automatically at set intervals, so it will add you (and any others who have reached the min's since the last one) at the next round :)

The support forums at listed at the bottom are a different system. Only by applying can you get access :)

UPDATE:

The new IP site is officially 3 months old today!!

So Ive adjusted the settings to now include the min 90 days registered + the post count. So if you are finding that at some point (it will happen after the counters auto reset), that you suddenly dont have access to somewhere you usually do, it will only be temp until your registered date catches up (for some of you, you may have registered a few days after some other members).

I gotta say, I still feel pretty sad about it. I was out of touch for a while and then didn't understand that I had to reregister so kept trying to login and failing. Now I'm still a long way off being able to post in any private forums, but I had only just reached major milestone before the changes. Had even been given access to certain forums but hadn't had a chance to access them yet. YKWIM?

Now I have stuff I wanna talk about with friends because have a major thing going on in my life, but I can't unless I'm prepared for the world to have access to it.

I'm just sad is all.
