ok....suggestions that don't use ingredients I'm unlikely to have, that won't take forever to cook, and are 3 year old friendly.

Ok I have skewers somewhere but I don't have eggplant, onion, capsicum or a bbq.

have you got any other vegies? Zucchini works well, as do mushrooms, and you can cook them under the grill too.

You could cut them up and fry them off with some sauce(soy, oyster, ketjap manis etc) and serve with rice

oyster, ketjap manis???? WAy to fancy girl!! You are talking to someone who doesn't like cooking.

I only have frozen vegies left. but they might be ok to stir fry with soy and something??

Do you also have bacon? Pound down the fillets and lay some bacon on it then roll them up and skewer it to secure and bake in the over for about 30 minutes. My kids love it.

:confused1 I gave up and ordered pizza. I really need that thermomix. I'm still trying to settle into this house and doing a bad job, and just too tired to cook a million and one meals tonight. Ella suggested she wanted pizza. Of course she didn't eat any.

Mercurious

Yes I must plan ahead. Maybe, little chicken snitzels? Ella won't eat it whatever it is.

Sigh. At least you have a teenage boy to eat double servings, yes?

I have some chicken in the freezer. Will have to cook it next week methinks. Sigh.

A delish curry! Sautee chicken, add coconut milk and curry powder and let cook for awhile. Add vegies andeither add noodlres as well or serve on a bed of noodles.
