Last year, DH was nominated by his peers for a Statewide industrial award for IT leadership. He didn't win, but we had a nice dinner out which was a treat in itself.

He was nominated again this year and won! Flabbergasted! He didn't even have a speech prepared because of last year, but he got up and gave a really entertaining thank you speech. OMG, I was so proud of him.

So this is just a shout out because I really feel he deserves some recognition.

Kate, yes I looked hot! ;) But it was the same dress I wore the year before - and it looked like I was the only spouse in the room. Never mind, he won, so I didn't look stupid at the end of the night. All of a sudden everyone wants to be Linked In to him. It's great exposure in his career - and at a time when he's thinking about shopping around for a new job. ;) Glad our names are different so I'm not giving any secrets away.
