Bugger, Kylie. I did the 3-payment option (credit card) and saved my first payment and paid the others off right away as I'd timed it for 2 low-bill months.

it's ok.. it's the single mother thing I guess.. and they don't take into account my child support.. never mind- can't get in to trouble if i can't get into debt.

how does the 3 payment option work, maybe that would be a good plan for me

You just sign a form to say they can take it from your credit card over 3 months. So first month it's $700-and-something, then $600 the next month, and $600 the next month. And it's paid for! And you're so, so happy to be cooking with a Thermomix it doesn't sting one bit when they take those subsequent $600 payments from you in month 2 and 3.

hmm= good thought.. I think that sounds like a good option- but I don't have a credit card- just a debit card- but that should still work yes?

Yep, it'll still work if it's got the funds.

    Thanks

Just another qickie, do you refrigerate your rice milk after you make it? How do you get it to not go gluggy?

I refrigerate it. To not get it to go gluggy, I just make sure it's well strained and shake the bottle before use!

I haven't read through all 13 pages, so apologies if this has already been posted, but I found a page on a Canadian TMX blog that listed the approximate savings from buying/using a TMX. I'm thinking the amounts would be similar here - except they obviously buy MUCH more expensive rice cookers than me

hmmmm...Ive been sitting with the idea of getting a TMX for some time now...just reading and thinking on it.....

Then yesterday, something dawned on me...... I haven't allocated my tax return money this year yet! I always spend it on something 'big' for myself that I would otherwise not save for.

Sooooo......Im thinking a TMX might be on the cards this year!

Thinking Ill do a demo, then just sit with it for a few months and see how Im feeling about it at tax time.....
