Talking of a second jug..... who here has one? And what do you use it for in your processes?
SM - what do you think you'll use it for? I'm really thinking hard about getting one......

Seriously Madi?
Today I could have easily finished the rolls in one jug so taken that jug off and put the second one in and made the dahl while the bread was proving for 45 mins. Then once the dahl was done, I could put the first jug back on to do the 2nd knead.
Wash 2nd jug and swap over to make the lassi while cleaning the first... and so on.
Often I'll be making dinner and C will want to make his icecream. He has to wait until I clean the first jug or dinner finishes cooking... or he cleans it himself. The reverse is also true.
Think it will just make my life so much easier when making larger amounts as well.

I have the Varoma book and don't use it so much.
I am borrowing that new cookbook for a few days (shhhhh) from my consultant and it's really lovely. I like the way it's set out.
I also got the new Indian book for keeps. So I don't know WHAT to cook this week! LOL
Ours was only used for a milkshake today 'cos I've been out of the kitchen. I have big plans for the week ahead though!
Made a few things today....
Quiche
5 Seed Bread
Pastry for Banoffee Pie
Carrot Cake
Baked Beans
I'm sold and ordering... Looking forward to having some yummy food in the house. So over the same old stuff we have been buying and eating. I'll be picking all your brains!![]()

I would love two jugs! I already can see how much more you can do with an extra jug! Apparently from time to time there is a special for a jug half price when you do a demo. I'll be looking out for that one! I am soooo in lurve with my Thermy. Wish I heard about it sooner. Today I am gonna try making my first loaf of bread. hope it turns out ok.

I missed out by the 1/2 price 2nd jug by ONE day when I bought my TMX last year. I was so sad! At the time I didn't even know what that would mean...
Have made some rolls today, and Abby made sultana muffins. Got plans for a curry and more later, but need to go out. Being out interferes with my cooking, sigh.
lol
Okies so if I wanted to make and freeze some pizza dough bases for quick and easy meals on the go would you freeze them in a ball or in the pizza base shape? Also, would you part bake them first or leave them "raw"?
In balls S.![]()

How long do they keep in the freezer?![]()
Do you reckon that the bechamel sauce and bolognaise sauce from the EDC would freeze well?
Bolognaise yes... but I'd be wary with the bechamel separating....
If it was in lasagne it should be ok though.![]()

Today I made our usual apple & berry probiotic smoothie for brekkie, bread rolls & zucchini soup for lunch (Mum has a glut of zucchinis - YAY!) as well as chopping veggies & mincing meat for beef chow mein for dinner..
Bel, is your banana icecream thing recipe posted here anywhere?? Off to look, but if not could you post it?
thanks!

Yes, I have two jugs and use it much like SM described.
And yes, you can get the cookbook by having a varoma demo....
